Chukwukwe Eugenia Adaku
She will never tell you how many unsent letters she has written for someone she loved the most. She will never tell you that most of her writings are describing the sadness that she is feeling every night. She will never tell you the wildest thoughts that are embedded inside her mind. She will never tell you why she’d rather write for that someone than actually tell them.
She will never tell you that the reason why she loves writing is that she wants to immortalize her feelings, thoughts, sentiments, musings and any other thing so that she wouldn’t forget who she is. She will never tell you that writing is the only way that she could keep her sanity and she will never tell you how much she’d rather write things than actually say them to you.
She may always tell you how much she loves listening to music. She will tell you the genre that she prefers to listen to. She will enumerate to you all her favorite bands and artists. She will tell you her favourite songs and the ones she loves listening to again and again. She will let you listen into her playlist and she will always tell you how much she couldn’t live without music. But then she will never tell you that her favourite songs have stories behind them. She will never tell you that sometimes, songs could explain her feelings than her words could. She will never tell you that she hates the noise of the world that she’d rather listen to songs than other people’s voices. She will never tell you the name of the person to who she dedicate the songs in her playlist about. She will never tell you that songs could make her smile or cry depending on the memories that comes with it. She will never tell you how much her playlist is pretty like her own novel.
There are a lot of things that she will never tell you and it is because she believes that the greatest stories are not written nor narrated, they are just left unsaid and they are just embedded through the minds of its authors and if you are special enough, you can see it through the books that she has read, the dreams that she has told you, the pictures that she has taken, the blog that she is working on, the entries on her diary that she has written and the songs that she has listened to. She has a lot of untold stories and you will never know them unless she lets you take a glimpse of her own world.
