UYLA President, Arhiyor Loses Mom
The National President of the Urhobo Youth Leaders Association (UYLA), Comrade Francis Arhiyor has lost his beloved mother, Mrs Maria Eromafuro Arhiyor (Nee Ututu) to the cold hand of death after a brief illness at the age of 73.
The burial arrangements as announced by the families of Akposivwro of Ekiugbo and Okoro of Odedegho in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State disclosed that the service of songs will hold on Thursday 16th February, 2017 at the Assumption’s Catholic Church, Ekiugbo-Ughelli by 4:00pm, the funeral service comes up on Friday 17th February, 2017 at the same venue between 10:00am to 12:30 pm, while the entertainment of guests and other social activities will follow at Ekiugbo Primary School, Ekiugbo-Ughelli by 1:30pm. The statement also revealed that the outing service and thanksgiving ceremony will hold on Sunday 19th February, 2017 in the Assumption’s Catholic church.
In a condolence message signed on behalf of UYLA by the National Secretary, Comrade Vincent Oyibode and made available to the press described Late (Mrs) Arhiyor as a loving mother. “Mama was an epitome of peace and blessing to humanity. She was very caring. Her house served as the home for relatives and friends“. Oyibode urged all members of the association, friends and well wishers at home and in diaspora to attend the events to honour our National President and as a mark of respect to our departed mother.
