Privatized Change By Kelly Juuz

Privatized Change
By

I was all alone
Browsing through internet with my phone
I came across his funny speech…
“Nigerians are stubbornly sick…”
Just because he’s rudely rich.
Again, I was all alone
Watching the clouds swim around the moon
Whilst my radio sing on a-high tune…
“From peaceful change to blithering doom…”
I remarked such_ “change of a cycling cone”.
Perhaps, it’s a privatized change
Ones hope before; turned their regrets
Sages weep for this chameleon change
Even new-born feel the heat at birth
What an ill-viral change.
Fresh skins before this wind;
Looks so old like a burnt wimp
Eatables were cheap before this wind;
Now a thing of the political associate
Privatized change at its viral wind.
Oh yes, your wife; your kitchen…
Making muses to console our grief
Yet, you couldn’t put down price of a chicken
How could one blame and shame you,for your beef
Since my motherland is drowning in recession.
