wet mother dove
tasseled on electric pole
minutes after rain
II
they soar high
they soar higher
migrating birds
III
mild billow
leaf falls in spirals
calm morning
IV
face illumine
eyes blink blind
sunrise at dawn

Akor Emmanuel Oche is the Creative Writers’ Association of Nigeria (CWAN) Kogi State Chapter Coordinator.
