I die

I die when the sun rises
I die a thousand deaths
Before the reaper, death
Harvests death-bound petals
With crude harvester

I die
when the birds
Sing early at dawn
Their songs making the flowers
In the field to dance

I die
When I wake from slumber
And begin another day

I die
A thousand deaths before death
I die.
