STUCK IN DEPRESSION BEFORE?

In the early days,
While I was in Senior Secondary School 2, I wrote the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The whole examination processes were a flash in the pan.
Being one of the best student in class, I was expected by all and sundry to excel in the examination but it turned out that I failed my best two subjects.
Isn’t it wierd?
For an intelligent student to fail the two subjects she loved the most. Well, it happens most times. I went through fire and water to get myself back up.
I cried all day, thought all was over. I was consoled by friends, teachers and parents.
You know how it feels facing them?
Well, all hope not lost,
I had another chance, I had the West African Examination (May/June) still ahead of me so I asked myself a thousand dollar question:
“What is my vision in this forthcoming examination?”
“How is it related to my beautiful career?”
“What are my mistakes in the first exam?”
Lo and Behold! the examination came. My parents and others asked me;
“Girl, are you fully ready for this?”
“God is in control” was my reply.
I wrote the examination with great determination and waited patiently for the results.
When the result was released, my heart skipped a bit but I had to put my trust in the most High.
And alas! there it was with good grades all through.
So, my experience not only potrays examinations but is also a case in point.
You have to be prepared for it.
Fine, you got these adversities but trust me, your sunday will soon come.
Therefore, great people! Are you ready to gain the freedom? If yes, then put these tips into action!
1. Accept the inevitable:
Great stuff! Adversities are meant to come and go, it is just a nine-day wonder.
You can’t be happy all day, depression will surely come.
Ben Carson, the world best neurosurgeon once met the inevitable, now he is the world best.
So, if he could bypass those situation, why can’t you?
2. Kiss, hug and love your mistake:
You do not only kiss or love a human, you love other things too, one of which are your mistakes. Retrace your steps.
Look intently at your mistakes, learn from them and use them to build your next step.
I did mine, looked deeply into my mistakes in the first exam and built myself with it thereby resulting into great grades for me.
So, for me to do that, you can too.
3. Positive mindset:
The negative mindset you hold deep inside you should be changed to the affirmative.
Because you are disappointed after your first trial doesn’t mean you should get the mindset that you cannot be lifted.
No, pick your life, analyze it and correct the mistakes which led to your downfall in the first instance.
4. Visualize your vision:
Visions are what lead you in life. For you to be free from the building of depression you are in, you need to imagine your vision, imagine yourself in great position, that higher grounds.
Ask yourself the one in a million question;
“Why did I choose this in the first place?”
If you can get the answer to it, you are definitely saving yourself from the house arrest.
5. Move to the planet of Inspirations:
Did I just used planet?
Yes, I did. Presently, we have the nine planets but don’t you think it will be perfect adding another planet to make ten? It will be a very great idea!
Successors are found in a separate niche, so move around them.
It is for you to be inspired and motivated to take the bold step to success.
6. Prayer and trust in God:
After all being said and done, you have to pray and put your trust in God. My director said something then;
“Pray like you will never pray again and read like you will never read again”.
So, I am imploring you to pray hard to God, cleave unto Him. He alone can sugar the pill for you so far you put your utmost trust in Him.
