2003 – AOL Time Warner disbands
Netscape. The Mozilla Foundation is established on the same day.

2006 – Twitter is launched, becoming one of the largest social media platforms in the world.

2014 – A train derails on the
Moscow Metro, killing at least 24 and injuring more than 160 others.

July 15 is the 196th day of the year (197th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar . There are 169 days remaining until the end of the year. This date is slightly more likely to fall on a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday (58 in 400 years each) than on Monday or Tuesday (57), and slightly less likely to occur on a Thursday or Saturday (56).
